So the league stage is done. The consistent Warriors will be playing the Falcons Qualifer 1, while the impressive Tridents will take on the Kingsmen in the Eliminator. The Tridents have won four in a row and momentum is with them. They will be playing at home too so it is going to be an exciting Eliminator game on Wednesday. That's it for the day. Imran Tahir (2/2) (It's another season of the playoffs for you guys, congrats on that. Tell me about them being here though. It's not in Guyana anymore. How does that change your planning, if at all?) Yeah, look, plan is going to be pretty much the same. The opposition we're gonna play against, we need to sit down and talk about it. And we're capable to do anything. The way we've been playing the whole season. So we've been put in, obviously, sometimes tough situations, and I think we just need to come over that. And it's only two bad games we had so far. So I think from team point of view it's been great commitment from the boys. We've been playing really good brand of cricket, and we want to carry on that. (A lot of Warriors in the crowd tonight. What do you say to them?) No, still very grateful to them and they always come and support us. It means a lot to us, and then I'm pretty sure we're gonna see a full house, obviously looking forward for that game.

Imran Tahir | Warriors captain (1/2): (Second time the batting has collapsed. Is there a pattern?) No, not really. If you look at it, I think the pitch played a little bit bad, obviously the first half, then the second, it got a little bit better. I think that was the advantage, really, and I mean there was a couple of dismissals. The balls were really short, so I can't really blame the batsmen. But I think there was some poor shot selection also from our side. So obviously we need to sit down and talk about it, because looks like we're gonna get the same scenario.

Chris Green (2/2): (How do you look ahead to Wednesday's eliminator against the Kingsmen? And what if you have to bat first? Are you ready for that challenge?) Definitely. I mean, I lose tosses for fun. I somehow have won the last five in a row. I don't know how that's happened. I think we are. Batting second, we've got a good blueprint to how to navigate the conditions here at Kensington and try and get a 155-160 total if conditions are like that. It's one thing we've got to rock up and assess conditions early. As for Jamaica, we know after that close game last night they're going to come wanting to take us down and knock us out here at home. We're going to want to encapture this crowd and try and dominate it and take them down. So it's going to be a great clash. It's an exciting part of the tournament now for the four teams remaining and one I'm really looking forward to. Congrats on making the playoffs.

Chris Green | Tridents captain (1/2): Well, look, for us, it's our home leg was our last leg, and every team will talk about their home leg being the most important leg, for us even more so given the finals are here. It was great last night to achieve that goal of home finals, and this was always a danger game. You come here with all your goals ticked off, you can just let it drift by, but I'm really happy with our efforts, how we dominated and took the game on and took down the form team of this tournament. So we go into Wednesday full of confidence and looking forward to that matchup against Jamaica. (On restricting the Warriors) Excellent bowling, and it started from the get-go, Ghazanfar, Motie, George Linde were outstanding. I think we had three bowlers on a hat-trick at one stage tonight. So in the five games we've played here, what's been impressive has been our bowling consistency. That's something that I think has got us into really strong positions in all five games. Obviously we didn't chase the runs against Trinidad, but we've been chasing under-par totals and geting the job done. So full credit to our bowling lineup. Again, like I keep saying, it's been different players standing up each time, which has been so impressive.

Allah Ghazanfar | PoTM: (What pleased you the most?) I just trusted my skills and nd I use my best variation with the plan. That's it. (You enjoy the challenge?) Bowling in the powerplay is a challenge. But I have a good plan for these guys. I want to repeat again and again for Barbados. (On playing in Barbados) I like playing in Barbados. At a point, the game actually in the balance until Descarte took on Tahir and put on a mega show of reverse sweeps and conventional hits. With King holding one end tight, he counterattacked to quickly put his side in command and then the rain arrived. The break disrupted his flow and he got out. King then took the baton and got the job done. Mehidy, Tahir, Permaul and GP impressed with the ball but the total was too low for them to make a serious case.
