Bjorn Fortuin: [On South Africa being more clinical today] Yeah, happy with the performance. Obviously with the standards that we set for ourselves individually and as a group, there's still some areas we'd like to tidy up. I think with the ball, I think we were a bit loose at the end, and considering the start that we had with the bat, we probably would have liked a bit more runs as well. But I've learned to never take wins for granted and keep moving forward. [On what stood out from the performance] Yeah, obviously Lhuan-dre's innings was magnificent. The way that he assessed the conditions fairly quickly and then adjusted his game accordingly was quite cool to see. And then to see bowlers stand up in different times of the innings, I mean Duan bowling four on the trot, that's something that you don't see in T20 cricket often, and him doing that and picking up wickets at key times was quite cool as well. [On his personal contribution] Yeah, fairly happy with some wickets. We never really strive for individual performances. We're looking to get the win, and that's the most important thing. But to be able to contribute to that is quite cool, and hopefully we can see more performances like that as a collective as well. [On the next game against Namibia] Yeah, no comment. Obviously we want to go into the business end of the series with some confidence, and a good performance again against them will sort of do that and set us up quite nicely going into the back end of the comp.

Sikandar Raza: [On Zimbabwe falling 43 runs short] Yeah, we've just got to win our next game and hopefully South Africa win their game as well, and then it's pretty much a clear picture. I think what we need to do is do the job for ourselves and our country and then take it from there. But yeah, not all is lost. As much as the scorecard tells you that we lost by 40-odd runs, but there's a new direction us as batters want to take, where we want to back ourselves to be throwing punches and get out while playing attackingly, and sometimes it will come off, sometimes it's not. Yes, shot selection and execution was off today, but still pretty happy with the mindset that the batters had. [On the key positive from the performance] From the last game, I thought we closed out the death pretty well against set batters. I thought the way we bowled in the last five or six overs was pretty special. That one over from Wesley into the death overs was pretty special. I thought the way Newman came back without blessing and closed out the death overs was pretty special. So bowling, I thought again, we ticked more boxes than not, but in batting, I think again, we've got one or two boxes that we left out there. Had we had wickets in hand with that score, and we had figured it out that here it's very hard to defend. So it's a small ground, so the boundaries percentage is quite higher. So had we had wickets in hand, I think it would have been a lot closer. [On the lower order contributing towards the end] Yeah, certainly it's nice. It's nice for those guys to come out, and our bowlers take a lot of pride in their batting as well. Our lower order has been contributing, our top order has been contributing, the middle order, some guys are contributing and some are not, and I'm one of them. So yeah, I think we just have to come together, all of us, and try and play a bit better, a bit smartly, but still positively and aggressively. And tide will turn. It always turns, but we just have to keep believing.

Lhuan-dre Pretorius | Player of the Match: [On missing out on a century] Yeah, that's fine. I'm just glad we got over the line. Milestones will come and go, and yeah, it wasn't meant to be today, but I was just glad because we said at the 14-over mark we wanted to get to 200, and I knew if I get the team to 200 I'd get to the milestone. But yeah, I think milestones come and go, and today was not meant to be, but we won, so it's good. [On converting his 30s into a 50 and going beyond] Yeah, I mean, everyone I spoke, I spoke actually to Heinrich Klassen this morning to help me a bit, and he said if I give myself 15 balls I can always catch up, and that was my focus today. I tried to set some small targets, and luckily it paid off today. So yeah, it's always just not the easiest thing to do, but I'm going to try give myself time every time I play. [On the one-handed catch] Actually, yeah, we were watching Glenn Phillips's catch (in the CPL) and making jokes about it, and then I think Duan's was better than mine, but yeah, I actually thought I could catch it next to me, and the wind just took it, and I was in a crap position. Luckily it stuck.

17:13 Local Time, 15:13 GMT, 20:43 IST: Chasing 186 was never going to be easy for Zimbabwe and they have fallen short by 43 runs. Brian Bennett got them off to a quick start in the first couple of overs, but a double-wicket maiden from skipper Bjorn Fortuin derailed the powerplay, from which they could never recover. There was another decisive phase just after the powerplay when Duan Jansen picked up three wickets in four balls across two overs, which almost sealed the game in South Africa's favour. Sikandar Raza started scratchily, but his knock of 45, along with some lusty blows from Newman Nyamhuri, ensured the margin of defeat was much smaller. Earlier, Lhuan-dre Pretorius smashed a 94 and was involved in a couple of 50-plus stands for the first two wickets, setting up South Africa's 185. The bowlers, led by Jansen and Fortuin, who shared seven wickets between them, then defended the total comfortably. Presentations coming up..
