Namibia believe they are a better side than how they played in this series and are hoping to upskill before their next series, while the Proteas travel home to host the Aussies in what is expected to be a spicy series. They will be really happy with the way their top order used their chances in this series, while the spinners have a great run too. They were pleased with how their pacers were quite penetrative too. Namibia started the T20 tri-series with a bang by upsetting the Proteas but they lost their way and went on to lose this ODI series 0-3. That's curtains then for today. Bjorn Fortuin | South Africa captain | PoTM: (Reflecting on the team's performance) We spoke about it in the T20s, different guys contributing at different times again. We saw Jordan (Hermann) and Connor (Esterhuizen) do it throughout the series with the bat. So fortunate enough to contribute with the ball today. (How important was this series? And it's an opportunity to prepare for your long summer coming up.) Yeah, any time on the field is taken with a lot of regard for players. We just try and spend as much time on the field as possible. Game time is precious, and the best learnings happen out there on the field. So from a learning point of view, that's the most important thing for us. (Leaving Namibia today, what are some of the things you take back with you?) It's always nice to come back and play in Namibia. I played quite a few amateur games back in the day. So it's always been nice to come back here, see familiar faces, a couple of faces that I played schoolboy cricket with. So it's always nice to come back, and hopefully we can be here in the future again.

Gerhard Erasmus | Namibia captain: (Reflecting on the game) I think on a day like today, perhaps more lessons. I think it's a bit of a drubbing and we wouldn't like to, for one play like that, and also we pride ourselves in being better than that. So I think, yeah, it's basically not a lack of effort. I think the next month or so of training and prepare for USA will also not be a lack of effort, but we need to upskill and get ourselves in our mindset to the next level. (Lessons learnt from this series) I think just taking away the physical stuff, for speed. They produce throughout the innings, quality spinners. They're a high-performance side. They get to the ball quick, they hit the ball hard and they bowl the ball fast. And if we can get our levels closer to that, then I think we're better off for it. (On exciting young talent in the squad) Yeah, definitely, and obviously a nice way to expose them against a very good side in South Africa. So they would have learnt a lot on this tour. I suppose when you win, you tend to feel more confident and as if you've learned more things, but I think if you lose, there's always that little bit of gold bits that you can take on.

Namibia tried something different today and decided to bat, but Fortuin recorded his career-best figures to trigger a collapse that saw the hosts slip from 72/2 to 125/9. They needed at least 300 to challenge the Proteas but they folded for 156. The visitors opted for the heavy roller to ease the pitch slightly and their openers Esterhuizen and Hermann got them off to a great start, sharing a 150-run opening stand. South Africa were just too good with bat and ball throughout the series for Namibia.
