Tristan Stubbs, Match Hero: (On the consolation win at the end of a difficult campaign) I think for what we’ve put in for the month, it’s disappointing, but it’s a nice way to finish off. (On the team’s preparation and whether they could have gone further) Definitely. In hindsight, it’s a bit frustrating. We gave it our all for the month. The first three games, lost a couple of close ones. And then it’s hard to get momentum going into the comp. And I think we’ve shown at the end what we can do, but it took us a while to get there. (On adapting to the 100-ball format) I found it very tough personally. You look at the scoreboard, you don’t know what to do. But the boys who have played it, they showed us they’re calm, they know what they’re doing. And unfortunately, it’s so quick. Like you say, you lose that small moment in the game and you lose the game. (On the pitches and conditions) They’ve been tough in Southampton with a big field. Also, you look at the scoreboard and you don’t know what’s a good score, batting first. So it was really nice to get out there on a good wicket and get a partnership going with someone. (On pacing his innings and his partnership with Marcus Stoinis) From what we played on the road. So, yeah, I think that helped us probably. But I knew once Stoin got out, we only needed 12. So one hit away and you had run a ball. So I was quite calm. (On his experience of The Hundred) Yeah, it was a great comp. Good month in the UK and we really enjoyed it.
