Tahir (3/3): [On his passionate celebration after taking a wicket] I came into proper professional cricket late, and especially white-ball cricket. When I was a kid, I always dreamed that one day if I belong to this stage where I can show my talent, I want to celebrate like it's my last wicket. That's what I'm enjoying the most, having family around, trying to inspire my son and all the kids all over the world. I hope they learn something. And for me, I don't want to give up till I'm bowling well and I'm moving around in the field. And if I can give something back, that will be really great, and that's how I always think in all my career. [On their next match against TKR] It's a big clash. Everyone knows that it's a big game. They have some world-class players, as we. So I think it depend who's gonna perform well on the day. We're ready for it. We've been playing good cricket. We want to stay humble. Once we get there, we want to show what we've got.

Tahir (2/3): [Gut feel comes in as well to make the bowling changes?] Yeah, there is a lot of time. I think even the management and coaches weren't expecting that and I have to bring somebody, like I did with Glenn Phillips today, and we got a wicket. But I think that's how cricket works sometimes. You have to sometimes play according to the conditions. If two left-handers batting, your best bottom-edge is to bowl offie, I tried that and we picked up wickets. Shamar is being the star for us with Pretorius and Sheppy, they set a standard for us going into the middle overs. Khary Pierre, another name, I was telling him after the break time that it's so difficult, and I was feeling bad that I didn't give you your two overs. And I was probably in the same circle because I was thinking that I probably bowl Shamar, Sheppy, but then I had to bowl one over. It's a great teamwork, and I think we're very happy for each other's success, and I think that's what the Guyana Amazon Warriors is all about. We had a great support today. I just want to say thanks to the fans again and their support from all over wherever they are.

Imran Tahir (1/3): Satisfied, very happy with the performance we put out there today. They've been playing really good cricket. They won two last of their games, and I think we came up with a better planning today. We've been watching. Obviously, we had time to see and reflect what we need to improve on. Today's a complete performance, but I think there is still a few things we need to improve on, so make sure if there is a couple of mistakes we make, then we won't do it going forward in the next game. [Is this team where you want them to be at this stage?] Yeah, definitely. Playing all the away games, I think it's a big bonus if you're winning on the road, and when you go home, then you always have a home advantage. Most importantly, there are certain people who stay behind the scene and they never get the credit, and I think Prasanna Agoram is one of the guys, who's our analyst. He studied, I mean, whole Caribbean. He's been with us for last three years and the work, amount of work he put in, give us all the stats, all the plans and stuff like that. It won't come easy, and I think he put it up front of the team, and we all agreed as a bowling group, and we thought that obviously if we bowl first, that's how we're gonna go about our business. That helps a lot. Sometimes you don't know some different plans, but I think we have to appreciate his work. He's been doing a great job for our team.

Moeen Ali: A bad day in the office. I thought in all three facets of the game we were poor, especially with the bat. Obviously you can't be 90-odd for 4 and then 116 all out. But it does happen in T20 cricket. I thought they bowled, take nothing away from them, they bowled really, really well. Obviously pace and good quality spinners, and we got a couple of wickets, but they were class. It can happen in T20 cricket. You got to brush yourself and go again whenever the game comes again. It was a tough day, tough result, but like I said, it happens. We're going to try and stay as calm as we can. We're in a good position still. Win a few more games and hopefully qualify. [Is Shadab Khan okay?] Yeah, he's done a little bit of a groin, so we just had to take precautions. We have some big games coming up. [What are you going to say to your dressing room tonight?] Just not get too down. I mean, in cricket you get beat badly sometimes against quality teams, but it's sometimes good to get humbled. We had two very, very good results, and sometimes you need these kind of results just to get you back into sort of being a bit more humble about things, and it just tells you that you can get beat by anybody at any time. [Any positives?] Not really, to be honest. No positives. They were better than us in all facets, and just a bad day.

Khary Pierre | Player of the Match: [What pleased you the most tonight?] It was a great bowling effort. The boys came out with a clear-cut plan. The backroom staff gave us a plan to work with, and we stuck to that. It was a really good bowling performance from each and every bowler. [On his plan] Yeah, keep it simple. We know there's a threat in Rahkeem Cornwall. I think his wicket is very important for us, and for their team, for him in the powerplay to get off. So it was just about for me trying to stick to my lengths and my process, and I think I did that. So I was happy. [What's your secret to success in the powerplay?] Just keeping it simple, not getting flustered, and believing in my process. I just try to keep it really simple and I've been doing a really good job of that, so I'm thankful. [How have you been enjoying this franchise?] It has been great. They welcomed me with open arms, and I want to thank the Guyana franchise for having me also. The son of this soil, Gudakesh Motie, he's a favourite, but the nature of franchise cricket, I just want to come here and play my role. My role and just make sure I do my role to the best of my ability.

21:42 Local Time, 01:42 GMT, 07:12 IST: A thumping win for Guyana Amazon Warriors. An all-round bowling performance bundled out the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons for 116. In reply, Glenn Phillips got going with a couple of streaky boundaries off Alzarri Joseph. Seales removed Nandu, and Alzarri accounted for GP in the very next over. Hope decided to attack the new-ball bowlers in the final two overs of the powerplay, hitting five boundaries (3 sixes, 2 fours) as GAW raced to 55/2 at the end of the sixth over. Hetmyer joined the party after the powerplay and hit sixes for fun. The left-hander struck 6 sixes and missed his fifty by one run. Hope and Hetmyer stitched a 99-run stand off just 42 deliveries to blow away the Falcons. Hope remained unbeaten on 47 and Sampson hit a six to finish off the proceedings as GAW hunted down the total inside 10 overs.
